When sport becomes part of recovery and strength 💙

There is a unique team in Lviv — the swimming club for veterans “Zhabkolapka”. This is a community of veterans and civilians who train together, support each other and prove that new challenges can be overcome together.
The project was created in September 2025 by veterans and civilian amateur swimmers. Today, the community consists of 8 veterans and 4 civilians who regularly train, prepare for long-distance swims and popularize adaptive swimming.
Their goal is not only sports.
This is recovery, support and social reintegration of veterans, development of internal resilience and creation of a strong community where everyone feels supported.

The team already has serious achievements — during the 24-hour swim, the participants (4 veterans and 2 civilians) together covered 62 km 100 m, demonstrating endurance, team spirit and true strength of character.

The next challenge is to participate in the Crazy Challenge 2026 open water 24-hour swim. This requires funds for team slots and training.

The TOGETHER FOR THE FUTURE OF UA Charitable Foundation supports the development of sports and initiatives that help veterans return to active life. That is why the foundation financed the costs of paying for a team slot so that the team could participate in the competition.

We believe:
sport can unite, restore and inspire.
We are proud to be able to support such initiatives and such people.
Together – to new distances.
Together – into the future. 💛💙
