Today, our foundation had a very pleasant mission – we helped the Temporary Animal Shelter “Exhibition Center” at VDNG. The temporary shelter was created as a structural unit of the KP “Kyiv City Hospital of Veterinary Medicine” at the end of March 2022 to help animals that lost their homes as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
Since its establishment, more than 500 animals have passed through the shelter!
Now there are dogs and cats here. Everyone has their own sad story. Someone’s owners died, and there are those whose Human went to protect the country from the enemy, and the animal was left alone. There are those who were taken from Borodyanka, and although they have been in the shelter for many months, they are still afraid of strangers and sharp sounds. There are old and very young animals. All of them need protection and care.
Today, volunteers of our foundation “Together in the Future of UA” brought wet food for cats and dogs, leashes and means for treatment against parasites to the Temporary Animal Shelter. We also received a lot of positive feedback from communication with the tailed residents of the shelter.
