Personal Contribution: Volodymyr and Olena

You already know that many volunteers of our Fund help from themselves, at their own expense.

This time, Koval Volodymyr, a volunteer of the foundation, returning from a business trip, bought and brought food for cats and dogs.

We receive a lot of requests for such help, but, of course, it is impossible to help everyone.

However, there are such stories and such people that we cannot pass by.

Pensioner Olena has been feeding animals in the Solomyansk district of Kyiv for more than 20 years. Now she takes care of five dozen animals every day, seven of which live in her home.

Olena has a guardian’s certificate… as well as a minimum pension, leads a very modest lifestyle. Of course, such people pull everything by themselves, without any help from others.

Elena’s son defends the country in one of the brigades, which we constantly help. And Olena spends all her money to feed the animals.

We gave the woman dry and wet food, drove with her around the places where her wards live.

There are really a lot of them, houses and shelters have been built for all of them, they are all fed and under control.

We hope that our contribution will help Elena at least for a while.
