One volunteer story

Sometimes we write about our incredibly special volunteers, and here is another story about an extraordinary person.

Oleksandr Pogrebny is only 20 years old.

At his age, most boys live an ordinary life – study, visit cafes, go out with friends or girlfriends, spend time with family. On average, somewhere like that.

At his age, Oleksandr has unusual and very useful hobbies in our time and actively volunteers.

The boy studies at the military department of the Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman.

Since childhood, he has not imagined his life without the sky.

He is learning to fly airplanes in Boryspil and is already teaching others, in particular, the military.

He has mastered drones and drops, controls the equipment perfectly and improves his skills.

Learns to shoot different types of firearms and shows good results.

Since the beginning of hostilities, Sashko has been constantly helping the military, repeatedly delivering humanitarian aid to the Kyiv region and to firing positions in the East, and also bringing cars to the front for the defenders.

Of course, the boy’s good deeds could not go unnoticed!

In April of this year, Oleksandr was awarded an award from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine – the medal “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”!

As they say, the award has found its hero!

We are sure that this boy has a great future and we are proud that Sashko is helping our charitable foundation as a volunteer.

It is with such youth that our country will surely win, flourish, and become a full-fledged European state.

Congratulations on the well-deserved award and we would like to sincerely thank Oleksandr’s parents, his life teachers and everyone who made him the way he is now.

We have something to be proud of, with such guys we will definitely win!
